Jul 10, (Emirates 247): Terrifying mobile phone footage has emerged showing a little boy dangling by his head after falling through the railings of a third-floor apartment in Yixing, Jiangsu province.

The young boy was alone in the apartment.

Somehow, the child had managed to squeeze his body through the tiny gap, until his head was stuck between two narrow, metal bars.

According to LiveLeak.com, when concerned onlookers attempted to get into the apartment, no one was home.

They called the police and pulled out a huge sheet above the ground as a makeshift safety net.

But the boy was rescued by a brave neighbour, who scaled the side of the building to get to the terrified child.

Huang Wei manages to get a foothold on the railings of balconies on the lower floors, before clambering across to where the child was stuck.

The boy's parents had rushed home during the incident and Mr Wei was able to pass them their child through the window.

Neither the man nor the boy was injured during the incident.
