Three killed in Jammu road accident


Jammu, July 10 (IANS): Three people were killed and three critically injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Friday.

"A car on its way from Lakhanpur to Maanu village in Basohli area of Kathua district went out of the driver's control and plunged into a deep gorge resulting in the death of three occupants," a senior police officer in Jammu told IANS.

"Three other occupants of the ill-fated vehicle have been shifted to hospital for treatment in a critical condition," he added.
