Modi heads for Turkmenistan from Ufa


Ufa (Russia), July 10 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday concluded his three-day visit to the Russian city of Ufa for the BRICS and SCO summits and left for the remainder of his Central Asian tour.

"Spasibo (thank you in Russian) Ufa! PM @narendramodi bids goodbye after key multilateral engagements to resume his Central Asia tour," tweeted the external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

Modi is headed to Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. His tour ends on July 13. He had earlier visited Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
