India condoles death of former Saudi foreign minister


New Delhi, Jul 11 (IANS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday condoled the death of former Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud Al Faisal and remembered his contribution to India-Saudi relations.

She also remembered his assistance to Indian nationals during evacuation from Yemen, tweeted external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

Prince Saud al-Faisal, who was the world's longest-serving foreign minister with 40 years in the post until his retirement this year, died on Thursday. He was 75.
