India, Turkmenistan sign seven agreements


Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), July 11 (IANS): Following delegation talks on Saturday, India and Turkmenistan signed seven agreements for enhanching cooperation among the two nations.

"Following delegation level talks, India and Turkmenistan signed 7 agreements for enhancing coopn in a no of sectors," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

The agreements were signed in the fields of defence, supply of chemical products, foreign affairs, sports, science and technology, medicine and tourism.

The delegation talks were held earlier in the day between visiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
