Three killed in Afghan bomb attack


Kabul, July 12 (IANS): At least three civilians were killed and 10 others injured after a roadside bomb struck a security convoy in Afghanistan's Kunduz province on Sunday.

"The bodies of the three killed civilians and 10 injured have been taken to Kunduz hospitals following the explosion," an official told Xinhua news agency reported.

Among the injured were three security personnel, the official added.

The explosion occurred when the convoy was passing a main road in Kunduz city's Spinzar locality, a witness said, adding that "one military vehicle was destroyed while several civilian cars and building were damaged by the blast."
