Car hits five policemen in Delhi


New Delhi, July 13 (IANS): Five policemen were injured in early hours of Monday when a car hit them near Civil Lines area in the national capital, police said.

A Santro car hit the five policemen at 2 a.m. when a police picket was checking vehicles.

All the injured were rushed to the nearby hospital.

While three policemen with minor injuries were discharged from the hospital, two others, who sustained serious injuries, have been admitted to a private hospital, police said.

The driver of the car has been arrested.
