DU's fifth cut-off: Varsity door still open for sought-after courses


New Delhi, Jul 14 (IANS): Delhi University on Monday night released the fifth cut-off list for the 2015 academic session, with preferred colleges like Lady Shri Ram (LSR), Hindu, Kirori Mal and Ramjas keeping their doors open for courses like Economics, English, B.Com (Honours) and Psychology.

Kirori Mal College has seats available in courses like Economics (96-96.25 percent), English (94.75-95.5), B.Com (Honours)(96.25-96.5) and B.Com (Pass) (95.75-96).

Economics was also open at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) (97.375 percent) -- same as in the fourth list.

Hindu College still has seats up for grabs for Economics (96.75 percent), Philosophy (91.75) and B.Com (Honours) (96.75).

Similarly, I.P. College still has admissions open for Economics at 95.5 percent, English at 94.75, History at 92.25 and Philosophy at 88.

Ramjas College has admissions for many courses still open, including Economics (96 percent), English (94.75) and History (93.25).

South campus college LSR has seats available for Psychology at 97.75 percent and Sociology at 95.5.

The college closed admissions for all other courses under the general category. However, they were open for students seeking admissions under the SC/ST, OBC and physically handicapped category.

Kamala Nehru College was still accepting applications for Journalism at 93.5 percent and Political Science at 90.

Students can complete their admission formalities between July 14 and July 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
