Congress fears violence during MP shutdown


Bhopal, July 15 (IANS): On the eve of the "Bandh" (shutdown) it has called, the Congress party here on Wednesday expressed fears of violence by the people linked to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party government.

The Congress has given a call for a shutdown in the state, demanding the Supreme Court supervision of the ongoing CBI probe into the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.

Congress leader Mohan Prakash said here the call for "bandh" has been given as a mark of respect for all those families who have lost their beloved ones due to Vyapam scam.
