Tata Coffee net profit up by 6.6 percent in Q1


Kolkata, July 20 (IANS): Tata Coffee on Monday said its standalone net profit during the first quarter of the fiscal increased by 6.6 percent at Rs.19.99 crore against Rs.18.74 during the corresponding timeframe last year.

The standalone net revenues, in the period under review, rose by nearly four percent at Rs. 174.79 crore. Earnings during April-June 2014 stood at Rs.168.07 crore.

The company's consolidated net profit, however, saw a decline to Rs.30.80 crore in Q1 compared to Rs.41.83 crore during April-June 2014.

Its consolidated net revenue, in turn, rose to Rs.396.04 crore during the quarter from Rs. 374.52 crore in the same timeperiod last fiscal.
