Mumbai, July 20: Okkaliga Sangha Maharastra convened Jayalaxmi Cooperative Credit Society Limited held their 15th annual general body meeting at Satyanarayana Goenka Auditorium of J B Nagar's Panchayati Seva Trust at Andheri east on Sunday, July 19.
Karnataka Mandya district K R Pete MLA, Adichunchanagiri Seva Samithi Mumbai convened Okkaliga Sangha Maharastra founder president and Jayalaxmi credit society executive president Narayana R Gowda lighted the traditional lamp and presided over the programme.
Congress leader Chandra Shetty, social worker Jithendra Devkar,society Vice president K Raje Gowda, Secretary Rangappa C Gowda, directors Chandan C Chari, Muthe S Gowda, A Kempegowda (Ramanna) Gondenahalli, Devaki N Gowda, Anasuya R Gowda, Sunanda R Gowda and R U Lagade were present on the dais.
Customers, shareholders, well wishers, elite people of Okkaliga community and others were present in the meeting. Executive president Narayana Gowda in his presidential address hoped that the communities may become stronger with literacy and financial independence.
Secretary Rangappa C Gowda giving details of loans, deposits,investments, turnover and profit of the society praised the work of directors and employees for the achievements. Vice president K Raje Gowda said though the society is led by Okkaliga community, it has been beneficial to the entire society.
Shekar J Gowda, Chandra Shetty, Jithendra Devkar and Uday Pratap Singh among the audience expressed their opinions and conveyed their best wishes for the progress of the society.
Employees Prakash Namdev Vadkar, Pradeep Kumar Rame Gowda, Shivakumar Hiranya Gowda, Mamatha Dore Gowda, Asharani Babu Gowda, Ganesh Chike Gowda, pygmy collectors Minal P Dound, Manje D Gowda, Ravikumar N Gowda, Ramakrishna N Gowda, Basuraj C Gowda, Praveen G Dhanavade, Sathyanarayana L Thivari, Devaraj D Gowda, Shanker R Gowda, Dore N Gowda, Sadashiva S Safaliga, Anantha C Naik, Shobhan S Salian, Sathish C Gowda, Ganesh S Gowda and Santhosh Madavnkar were honored for their service.
Society Manager Parashuram Dound welcomed the gathering, introduced guests and compered the programme. Shilpa S Madavnkar gave details on the activities of the society. K Raje Gowda proposed Vote of thanks.
