Whirlpool of India's net up 18.19 percent in Q1


New Delhi, July 21 (IANS): Whirlpool of India posted a net profit of Rs.98.10 crore for the first quarter of 2015-16, a rise of 18.19 percent, as against Rs.83 crore in the corresponding period last year, the company said in a filing in Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The total income of the company in the quarter was Rs.1,100.27 crore compared to Rs.1,052.24 crore posted during the corresponding period in 2014-15.
