Japan's trade deficit stands at 69 billion yen


Tokyo, July 23 (IANS): Japan's goods trade deficit logged at 69 billion yen ($556 million) in June, according to a preliminary report on Thursday released by the finance ministry.

On a customs-cleared basis, exports of the world's largest economy increased 9.5 percent from a year earlier, while imports dropped 2.9 percent, reported Xinhua citing the ministry.
