Udupi, May 24: In yet another accident involving a private bus t which took place near Kaup old police station in the early morning hours on Thursday May 24. This resulted in traffic jam for almost half an hour.
A bus coming from Udupi hit a Qualis car which was plying to Brahmavar. As a result of accident, Qualis car rolled down into drainage. At the same time, bus rammed into an electricity transformer.
Fortunately no one is injured since electricity supply was stopped immediately. Hence, possibility of a major casualty was averted, sources said.
