Lava launches new budget smartphone


New Delhi, July 24 (IANS): Domestic handset maker Lava on Friday launched the new budget Flair Z1 smartphone at a price of Rs.5,699.

The smartphone, which will run on Android Lollipop, will come with a 5-inch display and will be powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with a 1GB RAM unit.

The phone, which will have a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, will come with 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD slot.

The smartphone will be available in two colours - black and white - across all national retail stores and multi-brand outlets from the coming week and exclusively on Snapdeal from July 30.
