BJP red-faced over Shatrughan's praise of Nitish

Patna, July 26 (IANS): The BJP appears to be shell-shocked after its actor-turned-MP Shatrughan Sinha called Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the country's best chief minister.

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders here admitted privately that Sinha's statement of Saturday was "a big embarrassment" for their party, more so since his praised came hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted Nitish Kumar.

A senior BJP leader, Sinha represents the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat.

"The way Shatrughanji lauded Nitish only hours after the prime minister attacked him in Muzaffarpur is an embarrassment," a senior BJP leader said.

Addressing a public rally on Saturday, Modi said Nitish Kumar had strangled Bihar's development by ending his party's alliance with the BJP and joining hands with the RJD.

Sinha visited Nitish Kumar Saturday night and later described the chief minister as a "guardian of the state".

In the past too, Sinha has praised Nitish Kumar as a nice human and as a man of principles.

Special packages should be for crisis situations and not for elections," Thackeray told reporters here.

Someway Modiji was forgotten to say
5 lakh crores Rs. The Government of Kashmir was telling last month they didn't get any amount so far for the flood relief as promised by the PM. Promising by the crores to win the election, then like the Rs. 15 lakh/person privy purse allotment through the black money reclamation lottery will be the ultimate end result.

Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Jul 25 (PTI): Kickstarting NDA's poll campaign in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today focussed his attack on former BJP ally and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing him of "back-stabbing" the people of the state and alleging that there is some problem with his "DNA".

Modi also targeted Kumar for allying with RJD, saying he was trying to drag the state back to the 'jungle raj', and asked the voters to reject such people as they "cannot be trusted" again and elect NDA with a two-third majority for changing Bihar's fate.

He said Bihar will be given a special package "bigger" than Rs 50,000 crore which he had promised earlier and that will be announced after the end of Monsoon session of Parliament as his "lips are sealed till then".

Addressing a public meeting here, he said Kumar practices "political untouchability" as he recalled how the JD(U) leader had refused to entertain him after inviting him over dinner and had snapped ties with BJP because of his dislike towards him two years back.

Modi took a dig at Lalu for his comments about "drinking poison", which was made in an apparent reference to his accepting Kumar's leadership. He said while he had chosen to do so for his "vested interest", why was he forcing the people of Bihar to "drink poison" along with him.

"During the last elections, Kumar had said that if he was unable to provide electricity to entire Bihar, he would not come to ask for votes again in 2015...But have you got the electricity? It has not come. But he has come to ask for votes. He betrayed your trust.

Forget me, he even back-stabbed you. Such people cannot be trusted again," he said.
Seeking to play a dalit card, he said Kumar had practised "political untouchability" not only towards him but also a "mahadalit" former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, an erstwhile leader of JD(U), who has since joined NDA.

Bihar election prediction, either it would be hung assembly or Nitish Kumar- Lalu Prasad Yadav combine will win and form the govt, Mr. Modi magic may not work, Mr. Shatru will eventually join JD (U), as his position in BJP is shaky, he is a big mouth & Mr. Advani loyalty.
The question is, Nitish Kumar & Lalu have formed a unholy alliance just to keep BJP out & grab power, later on they may part their ways, and we won't be surprised if there is a mid tern poll in Bihar, Bihar is a difficult case to predict, only we can guess, in all people of Bihar are biggest losers. This is the reason the state is so backward compared to other states.
Good luck Nitish & Lulu, win the election with crook or hook, and lot Bihar to the best of your ability.
Still PM Modi's Congress Mukth Bharath dream will come true, as congress will not form the govt in Bihar, neither do they win any seats.

they are desperatly tryig to get union minister ships or cm giri(shatru dreaming to be bihar cm and yashwant was dreaming to be jarkand cm but failed).these guys dont have any vote pulling power to increase seats for thier party but when when it comes to sharing power these are first in line.its only bcoz of modi and shah bjp is in power in centre and in majority of states and from now on bjp will fight with youth power and active people who can atleast stand on thier feet in the age bracket of 50-70 in future elections.so tata oldies.bcoz of selfish and incapable people like you bjp suffered untill now.but that will not be the case anymore.

People of bihar if want progress for their own state and to the country, they must defeat BJP. This is a necessity. BJP leaders have become arrogant and shameless. This is a dangerous mix in politics. Some leaders were corrupt even when they were in opposition like Sushma and Raje, instead of stepping down they are fighting hard for their chair. A win in bihar will embolden them much more for their corrupt practices. A defeat would push them to be accountable to people of India.

Nithish is better bet than corrupt BJP anytime.

These actors in political party have these dubious nature! they have their own compulsions along with greed to do such acts! Ambareesh or SHatrughan sinha- they are grown up with "attention" everywhere and suddenly you corner them, cant overcome their insecurities and come to terms with "they are not CROWD PULLERS anymore or NEWSMAKERS anymore" and if you sideline them, then they think I will decimate him. its vengence mode and they think like in movies, they will win in climax everytime! FALSE HOPES! time to throw them away to dustbin.. though I appreciate there is no High command culture in COngress, where Modi will just reprimand him, for speaking his mind, like in case of sonia-tharoor, I feel, he should be counsled - dont cross limit and be a eye sore for public. specially when you all have had your kidney transplants, Bypass surgeries, and already lifted a leg and kept it in another world! vhe vhe vhe

The CM of Bihar is an highly educated person and a visionary, trying too hard to change the image of Bihar. Modiji is trying the "Taroor" card, and now he got the same medicine from the other side. The Bihar election result would be a shocking eye opener grading the world trotting of the PM and the practical grading at the grocery stores.
