Jul 29, (Emirates 247): A Kuwait Airways pilot is likely in serious trouble after a story was leaked that he had reportedly invited a former adult star and her friend into the cockpit during a flight and made advances at the women.
According to a report in Daily Star, the transatlantic flight from London Heathrow Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City over the weekend had around 300 people onboard at the time of the incident.
The former actress has been identified as Chloe Khan—her stage name is Chloe Mafia—and she claims she was invited to the cockpit by the pilot and was served drinks.
She also alleges that the pilot allowed her to smoke cigarettes on the plane and gave her permission to press buttons while the plane was on autopilot.
Ms Mafia took photos and videos while in the cockpit.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Playboy model Ms Khan said she and a glamorous friend were invited into the cockpit by a stewardess just after the seatbelt signs had been turned off.
The 24-year-old who was rejected from the UK X Factor in 2010, claims that when she asked him about smoking and about having passengers in the cockpit, he replied that he 'made the rules' and others were 'too fussy' about safety.
She said once in the cockpit, the captain spent hours entertaining them by singing songs including The Lion King's Hakuna Matata and Toni Braxton's Un-break My Heart.
In the video, Ms Khan is heard singing the Lion King song - showing off the vocals that got her beyond the audition stage of The X Factor.
Kuwait Airways issued a statement on Twitter saying it would carry out a 'full investigation' into the report.
"Kuwait Airways would like clarification on what was published today on the news entry rider into the cockpit during a flight from London to New York... it will conduct a thorough investigation on the incident to ascertain its authenticity."
They continued "...ascertain his health and then take the necessary action in accordance with the practice in Kuwait Airways in such cases."
By inviting the women into the cockpit, the captain broke strict rules introduced after the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001 banning passengers from the cockpit.
The unnamed pilot could also be in trouble for allegedly flouted a smoking ban - introduced in 2007.
