Udupi, Jul 30: A youth who had gone for swimming has lost his life at Malpe beach on Wednesday, July 29.
Shiva kumara Kuppaluru (22) from Koodupalli Hirekeruru in Haveri district is the person deceased.
Shiva Kumara was working as electrician in Bench apartment in Bengaluru. He was on a pleasure tour with a group of 13 people. The group reached Malpe in the evening at 4 o’clock after visiting some places including Murdeshwar. When Shiva Kumara was about to venture into the sea for swimming, the lifeguards told him not to proceed due to bad weather.
Shiva Kumara who did not listen to the lifeguards went ahead and lost his life. Life guards and police personnel are searching for the body of the deceased. Malpe police have registered a case.
