Shoppers Stop posts Rs.21 crore loss in Q1


New Delhi, July 31 (IANS): Shoppers Stop posted net loss of Rs.21.43 crore for the first quarter of 2015-16 compared to Rs.75 lakh profit posted during the corresponding quarter in 2014-15, the company said in a filing in the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"In this quarter, we have taken an one time impairment in the value of investment in our duty free airport retailing joint venture company," said Customer care associate and managing director Govind Shrikhande.
