Mangalore, May 31: As words fly fast and furious between different party members in the run up to the Ullal elections, BJP state president D V Sadanand Gowda in a press meet on Wednesday May 30 here flayed Congress party’s methods of campaigning.
Gowda alleged that Congress has been indulging in false propaganda by misguiding the public by spreading rumours of change in date of elections and irregular distribution of voter slips.
Citing an example, he said that Congress campaigners have distributed only two voter slips in houses where there are four voters. He urged the district election commissioner to take appropriate action regarding and also warn the people to be careful of such false propagandists.
He further gave his assurances of the MP funds in Ullal being fully utilized, contrary to Congress party’s recent allegation of mismanagement of funds.
