Arch Bishop Dr Bernard Moras celebrates birthday

Bengaluru, Aug 11: Dr Bernard Moras the Arch Bishop of Bengaluru celebrated 74th birthday on August 10. The office bearers of ICUF along with other members were present.







To make this auspicious occasion more meaningfull the Arch Bishop felicitated Lizaba I Deepak and handed over a cheque of Rs 25,000 on behalf of ICUF, in appreciation of her contribution in bringing laurels to the Catholic Community in particular and the counry at large, winninbg a Bronze Medel, at the Special Olympics held in LA California USA, in July in the 50 meter backstroke swimming event, competing against mighty countries like USA, Mexico, Japan, China, Denmark, Finland, Porto Rico,
Australia, France, Spain and Kenya.

This being her third International medal, after her silver and bronze secured at the special Olympics held in Australia in 2013. She has been a water baby since the age of 5 and has secured only Gold in all the national paralympic championships held in India so far.
