While speaking at a reformation camp for the alcoholics organized at Chelairu MRPL evacuees' colony hall, he urged them to make best use of the camp and free themselves from the imaginary pleasure of alcohol. He also advised the participants to give total commitment to the family, which needed their love, care and affecion.

Camp managing committee vice president Veenu Vinoda Shetty welcomed the gathering, Vivek Vincent Pais read the annual report and Shankar Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
