'Jai Tulunad' film to release in Sep end, audio on Aug 29

Udupi, Aug 13: The ‘Jai Tulunad’ tulu movie team is all set for its audio release which will be held at Hotel Abhiman Residency Hall, Mangaluru on Saturday August 29. The movie promotion will formally kick-start with the audio and promo release in a grand function.

Film director Praveen addressing the press meet on Wednesday said, "It is the second action film directed by me. The theme of the film is based on the action film 'Singham'. The total budget of the film is Rs 1.25 crore. The film will be released by the end of September. It consists of six songs. Dr S P Balasubrahmanyam has lent his voice for the songs in the film."

He also said that 'Jai Tulunad' movie is an amalgamation of comedy, action and emotion.

Senior actors such as Bhavya, Sarojini Shetty, Nayana Graham Devu, Manmohan Rai and others will also star in the film.

Noted Tulu actor Naveen D Padil said, "There are six to seven films at hand. After a short break my team and I will present a theatre drama during Udupi Paryaya 2016."

Avinash Shetty, the male lead in the film said, "I have acted a negative role in the Kannada movie 'Power Star' and played an important character in Naveen’s 'Chella Pilli' film. I have taken training for the fight stunts in this film.

"I am very happy to work with Tulu theatre stars like Aravind Bolar and Naveen Padil. It has been a good opportunity for me," he added.

Actress Sonal Monteiro said that this is her second Tulu movie and that she is expecting success from this action-oriented movie.

Film producer N G Shivanna Raja Sulochana Nandihalli was present.
