Aug 17: The ICYM youth of Bajjodi unit in collaboration with ICYM city deanery organized inter-parish singing competition on the eve of 'Konkani Manyatha Divas'.

Fr George Crasta, city varado ICYM director was the guest for the inaugural programme. Fr Shabas Crasta, parish priest of Infant Mary Church, Fr Jocy, ICYM director Bajjodi unit, Clanute Lobo, president and Rainish D’ Souza, secretary of Bajjodi ICYM unit were also present. There was active participation from different parishes. Lancy Moras and Maxim Pereira were the judges for the event. Godwin Rasquinha, the main sponsor of the event felicitated the winners. Jonita and David compered the programme .

The winners are as follows:

Female solo:

II – Janisha D’ Souza, Shaktinagar parish
III – Teena Pais, Cordel parish

Male solo:
I – Arun D’ Souza, Jeppu parish
II – Rynel Sequira , Cordel parish
