New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday paid floral tributes to former president Shanker Dayal Sharma at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
President Mukherjee, Vimla Sharma, wife of Shanker Dayal Sharma, family members and other officials of Rashtrapati Bhavan paid tributes at a portrait of the late president, a release said.
Sharma served as the president of India from 1992 to 1997.
The former president died of a heart attack on December 26, 1999.
