Mangalore, Jun.15: Dawood Hakeem, an employee of Pest Control Company here, was found dead while on a tour to Bangalore.

His father, Abdul Kadri, hailing from Moodushedde near here,  has lodged a complaint with Bangalore Upparapet police station, alleging that his son had died in mysterious circumstances.  He has urged them to investigate the case, as he suspects that there has been foul play in his death.

Hakeem had left for Bangalore to attend to the work assigned to him by the employer on Tuesday, June 5.  Besides, he had also called home on Friday, June 8 to inform them that he would be back on Sunday, June 10. However, Abdul Kadri received a call from his colleague, Kabeer, stating that his son had been found lying in a crititcal condition. 

When he called the employer, Guruprasad, to enquire about the matter, he was told that Hakeem had committed suicide and that his body lay in the Victoria Hospital.

Abdul Kadri has also stated in his complaint that upon a close look of his son's body, he had found signs of the hair above the forehead having been pulled out and also the body had marks of bruises on his neck and arms. The distressed father has appealed to the police to investigate the angle of possible murder, because of the marks found on his son's body.
