Bantwal, Jun 16: The daring robbery in a jewellery here on Sunday June 10 has taken a new twist after the stolen cash Rs 1.7 lac was found in the jewellery on Friday June 15.

Sources said that jewellery owner Suresh V Baliga has informed the police that stolen cash Rs 1.7 lac was found in the jewellery on Friday.

With this the entire case has taken new turn.  So far it was maintained that the robbery could have been the handiwork of some outsiders.  But now that the cash is found in the jewellery police may have to look into other angles too, said locals.
