Mangalore, Jun.17: A girl has committed suicide at the jurisdiction of Bantwal police station, recently.

She has been identified as Sridevi (18), a resident of Sajipanadu in Malarayabail, a remote village.  She was the step daughter of Shashidar Bhandary who was mentally disarranged committed suicide by hanging on the fan. 

A police case has been registered by Bantwal rural police.

Boy drown while bathing in a rivulet

Rahim (18) son of Siddiq Haji, resident of Bhadriya Nagar at Kanbale when he fell on the rock in the rivulet while bathing. A case has been registered by the police.

Children at play near quarry were found dead

Two children busy at play near a quarry, were found dead when they accidentally fell into the flooded quarry. They were identified as Shanibha(7), daughter of Siddiq and Janabi, and Ramsina Rahim(4), daughter of Abdul Rehman and Rabiya. It was believed that, Shanibha went to rescue Ramseena when she fell into the quarry and perished.  A case has been registered by police, in this regard.
