Media Release

Doha, Jun 17: Mangalore Cricket Club, Qatar, organized a blood donation drive for the first time and received an enthusiastic response from its members.  This campaign was held on 15th June 2007 at 10.00 a.m. at the Hamad Medical Corporation Blood Bank unit.  All members were welcomed by President Norbert Corda & Vice President Sunil D'Silva. 

Around 30 members came forward for this noble cause. The volunteers were Fredrick D'Souza, Archibold Rodrigues, Arnold Lobo, Claudio Mendonca,  Valerian Fernandes, Cyril D'Souza,  Prakash Noronha, Sanjay Fernandes, Maurice George, Sean D'Souza, Paul D'Souza, Stany D'Souza, Eric Pinto, Kiran Olivera, Maxim D'Souza, Eric Monteiro, Ronald Rodrigues, Robert Shingare, Jossy D'Souza., Riana Pinto, Shalini  Monteiro, Cyril Cunha, Lawrence  Sequeira, Jovita Fernandes and Errol D'Cunha.

The President thanked all those who came forward to support the noble cause during this maiden blood donation campaign organized by the club.
