Teenager jumps off building after father's scolding

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS): An 18-year-old boy committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of his residence here after being scolded by his father, police said on Saturday.

Police said Rahul took the extreme step a few hours after his father scolded him over some issue on Thursday night. He was staying with his parents in Ghazipur area of east Delhi.

"He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning," a police official said.
