Axing of India-Pakistan talks is government failure: Sharad

Patna, Aug 23 (IANS): JD-U president Sharad Yadav on Sunday said the cancellation of the NSA-level talks between India and Pakistan reflected the failure of "our foreign policy".

It is also a setback for the country's prestige, he told the media here.

"Cancellation of the India-Pakistan talks is a result of half-cooked homework of the central government," Yadav said.

Pakistan on Saturday cancelled the talks between the national security advisers of the two countries after India opposed any meeting between its visiting officials and Kashmiri separatists.
