New Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS): It was a cloudy Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 23 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.
"It will be a cloudy day. Thundery development could occur in some areas of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 80 percent.
Rainfall over the past 24 hours has been 56 mm.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
