Karkala: Regional Lions Club president visits Mundkur-Kadandale

Karkala, Aug 24: "Service should not only be limited to words alone, but it should leave imprints in people's lives. By good deeds, peace of mind and spirit can be achieved," stated regional Lions Club president Sathish Shetty of district 314c sector 3 on addressing the gathering during his licensed visit during the Mundkur-Kadandale charter night. 














On this occasion, retired teacher Santhan D'Mello who has been serving the society by his good deeds (education and hindi literature) was honored. Physically disabled Karunakar was given a wheel chair by the Lions Club. In memorial of Mundkur, Madhava Kamath books were distibuted to 10th std and 2nd puc students who secured highest marks.
 
On the occasion of Founders Day celebrations, Lions members of Mangaluru, Kankanady-Padil region were honored with a token of gratitude.

Newly elected, Mundkur-Kadandale Lions president Victor Sequeira was the chief guest. Kankanady-Padil Lions president Asha Shetty, provincial secretary Dinesh Bangera, sector president Sudhakar Shetty, Mundkur-Kadandale Lions Club extension chairmen Edwin Walter were present on stage.

Ln Victor Sequeira welcomed the gathering. Ln Manjunath Hegde compered the program and Ln Prasanna Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

The program ended with a family meal.
