Two policemen killed, 27 injured in Egypt blast


Cairo, Aug 24 (IANS): Two policemen were killed and 27 others injured on Monday in an explosion in Egypt's Beheira governate, the media reported.

The blast struck a passing bus that was carrying the policemen to work posts in a village in the Beheira, some 160 km north of the capital Cairo, Al Ahram online reported.

The bombing was claimed by Islamic State affilate, Ansar Beit Al-Maqdis terror group.
