Mangalore, Jun 19: Police inspector Vinay Gaonkar has been reappointed as police inspector at Bunder police station.
Earlier, he was posted at Bangalore city commissioners’ office. He will take charge on Friday, June 22.

Gaonkar also headed the anti-rowdy cell during his earlier stint at Bunder station. He had been suspended once earlier on charge of harassment. After the revocation of his suspension order, he had been transferred to Bangalore.
At the same time, T B Rajanna of district crime investigation bureau has been transferred to Mysore. In his place, A D Nagaraj, sub inspector of Ullal station, has been promoted and posted. Nagaraj took charge on Monday, June 18.
