Lamborghini catches fire, driver escapes unhurt


New Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS): A Lamborghini Gallardo went up in flames on Monday morning in south Delhi's Badarpur area, police said. Nobody was hurt.

"The driver of the yellow-coloured car managed to escape without any injuries. The incident took place at around 9 a.m. under a flyover in Badarpur," police said.

"The fire suddenly occurred near the rear portion of the car, which has its mammoth 5.2 litre engine," a police official said.

Police have sent the Rs.2.5 crore car for a detailed analysis to find out the reason behind it bursting into flames.
