Mangaluru, Aug 24: Padua PU College recently took part in variety entertainment programme ‘Konkani Yuva Mahotsav’, organized by Karnataka Konkani Academy at kalaangann and won many prizes.
Students from Padua PU College secured first place in group singing for the song ‘Konkani Mando’. The students also secured first place in group dance which was choreographed on peacocks dance around ‘Kanha”.
Furthermore, the students also won the first place in skit which was scripted on the concept of diversity of Indian religions and how to unite all these various religions and do away from the communal fights.
Padua PU College also became the overall champion and won the cash prize at the pre university level.
