Sunny, hot Wednesday in Delhi, Thursday likely to be similar


New Delhi, Aug 26 (IANS): It was a hot, sunny Wednesday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 36.2 degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to remain similar on Thursday, the Met Office said.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the sky will remain partly cloudy on Thursday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 28 degrees.

Wednesday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled two notches above the seaon's average at 28 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 81 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was 35.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 28 degrees Celsius, also two notch below for the average of this season.
