Udupi: Two suspects arrested for illegal transport of 16 buffaloes

Udupi, Aug 27: Police, on a tip off, arrested two suspects near Barkur Sneha bar for illegal transport of Buffaloes on Thursday morning, August 27.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Kasargod district residents Jainulla Abid (27) and Abdul A (41).

They were found transporting 16 buffaloes to Kerala via Kokkarne in 909 goods vehicle with registration number KA21A 9290.

Police have taken possession of the vehicle valued at Rs 8 lac and buffaloes costing Rs 2,10,000.

Brahmavar station police have registered a police case with regard to the matter.
