Delhi govt mulls police complaint against Sheila


New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS): The Delhi government may file a police complaint against former chief minister Sheila Dikshit for alleged irregularities in buying water tankers during her tenure.

"Delhi Water Minster Kapil Mishra has recommended that an FIR be filed against Sheila Dikshit in the case," a source in the government told IANS.

The case dates to 2012 when the Delhi Jal Board procured tankers to supply water in various areas where it was scarce.

Sheila Dikshit was the DJB chair at the time.
