Defence acquisition council meet ends abruptly

New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS): A meeting of the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) ended here abruptly on Friday after Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar left for another meeting, sources said.

It was, however, unclear to which meeting the defence minister rushed to.

The DAC clears proposals for defence acquisition.

The meeting is now expected to take place next week, most likely on Tuesday.
