14 soldiers injured in Kashmir army camp blast

Srinagar, Aug 29 (IANS): Fourteen soldiers were injured on Saturday in an explosion inside an army training camp in south Kashmir's Pulwama district, authorities said.

A defence source told IANS: "Fourteen soldiers were injured inside the Corps Battle School (CBS) in Khrew area today (Saturday) in an explosion."

"The explosion occurred due to mishandling of an explosive device and there are no reports of any sabotage in this incident. Three troopers have sustained critical injuries while the rest are being treated mostly for minor injuries," the source added.

CBS Khrew is situated inside the camp of 50th battalion of counter insurgency Rashtriya Rifles.

    Mishandling of an explosive device? How can our soldiers be irresponsible.

    We cannot afford to loose our soldier for these absurd incidents.
    Pray that such incidents will not occur again. They soldiers are ready to die fighting with enemies not for these irresponsible actions.

    Dear Jossey, yes, out NRI PM is safe coz he never be in India. He is busy schedule in meeting with Foreign PMs / Presidents / Businessmen. He is working for Indian industrialists like Adani, Ambani, Tata etc. Let hundreds of soldiers get killed at the border, let hundreds of farmers commit suicide, let hundreds of innocents get tortured by moral police, there is no effect on our 56 in NRI PM. God save India.
