Delhi Airport launches new mobile app


New Delhi Aug 29 (IANS): Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Saturday launched a new app named flyDEL that aims to augment the passenger experience and achieve customer delight at the airport.

The app, which is available for both Android as well as iOS based devices, covering a majority smart phone users in the country, provides real-time flight information and access to all passengers' facilities available at the airport among others.

"The smart and tech savvy travellers as well as first-time users can make the best use of the wide range of facilities available at the airport by using the app," said DIAL CEO I. Prabhakara Rao.

"The app is based on a very specific technology that takes care of the real needs of the various categories of fliers to make their journey a pleasant and hassle-free affair. The app's unique design showcases the World's #1 Airports dynamic images," he added.

The offerings are currently listed under various categories - flights, services, food and beverages, navigation and shopping.
