Mumbai, Aug 31: Kannadiga Patrakarthara Sangha, Maharashtra held their seventh annual general body meeting at Samarasa Bhavan of Karnataka Sangha, Mumbai at Matunga west on Sunday, Aug 30.
President of the Sangha, Chandrashekar Palethady presided over the meeting. He stressed that the members should concentrate on plans for house sites among members.
Advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty announced that 15 members are elected for the working committee for the period 2015-2018. They are Chandrashekar Palethady, Rons Bantwal, Daya Sagar Chowta, Harish K Hejmady, Premanath B Shetty Mundkooru, Babu K Belchada, Ashok S Suvarna, Sham M Hande, Suzan L Coelho, Janardhan S Puriya, Gurudath S Poonja Mundkooru, Dinesh Shetty Renjala, Vishwanath V Poojary Niddodi, Jaya C Poojary and Shiva M Moodigere.
Well known chartered accountant in the city, I R Shetty and company were elected as auditors for the period 2015-2018. Janardhan Puriya, Doddayya R Salian, Premanand R Kukian, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjala spoke
on behalf of the audience and gave suggestions for the progress of the sangha.
Joint secretary Premanatha Shetty Mundkooru read the report of the previous year. Honorary treasurer G P Kusuma read the income and expenditure account. Working committee member K Belchada read the annual report.
Vice president Dayasagar Chowta gave details of professional members. Working committee member Shama M Hande proposed the vote of thanks.
