Eset India appoints new country head


New Delhi, Sep 1 (IANS): Eset, a global provider of security solutions for businesses and consumers, on Tuesday said that it has appointed Zakir Hussain Rangwala as its new country head.

Prior to his promotion, Rangwala was national sales manager for enterprise and small and medium businesses (SMBs) at Eset.

In his new role, he will be responsible for spearheading the overall operations for ESS Distribution Private Ltd of which Eset is a part. He will also see to sales, marketing, client services and support.

Rangwala, who has twenty years of experience in the IT security and technology sector, said: "Eset is experiencing significant growth in the consumer and corporate information security markets in India as we focus on keeping up our products in line with rapidly changing technologies as well as strengthen our partner programmes."

"We are presently working on innovative marketing strategies as well as continue expanding our team of techno-commercial managers across India, including Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, to support our partners with even better industry expertise," he added.
