Kuala Lumpur, Sep 1 (IANS): A Malaysian doctor faces the sack for after her photograph with a woman in labour surfaced on the social networking sites, a media report said on Tuesday.
Although technically not a selfie as the doctor clearly could not have taken the image herself, it was widely reported in local media as yet another abuse of selfies in the medical profession.
Previous instances have mostly involved nursing staff and people in lesser roles and this is believed to be the first time a doctor has been caught.
The doctor in the picture was identified as a female medic working at the Johor Bahru hospital in the state of Johor at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, a Daily Mail report said.
