Ernst and Young join hands with Kerala Startup Mission

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 2 (IANS): Ernst and Young has joined hands with the state-owned Startup Mission in a first of its kind Business and Technology Accelerator programme for startups in the state.

The professional services organisation will provide techical support to the programme located at KINFRA Film and Video Park in the state capital, in which selected startups will get six-month training on business sophistication and skill enhancement.

The programme would encompass mentorship support in all areas of business and technology, including business strategy, besides helping entrepreneurs to network with industry captains and investors.

"The accelerator aims to overcome the constraints faced by young entrepreneurs in their business procedures," said Startup Mission CEO Jayasankar Prasad.

Interested companies can post their applications online at www.startupmission.kerala.gov.

At the end of the programme, a mentorship plan comprising both technology and business for the selected companies will be drawn up. This will then be shared with the entrepreneurs for mutual agreement.
