18 killed in Mali boat accident

Bamako (Mali), Sep 3 (IANS): At least 18 people were killed after a boat carrying over 100 passengers capsized in a river in central Mali, local authorities said.

Over 70 people were rescued after the accident which took place on Wednesday, Xinhua reported, citing a statement issued by the Mali government
