JFI chief Mukesh nominated as international judo body director


New Delhi, Sep 4 (IANS): Judo Federation of India (JFI) president Mukesh Kumar has been nominated as director in the International Judo Federation (IJF) Coordination Committee of Directors by the executive committee.

The main role of the coordination committee of directors is to promote and implement the IJF strategy and judo values. Mukesh Kumar is also the general secretary of the Judo Union of Asia (JUA).

"I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been appointed as director in the IJF Coordination Committee of Directors, following the decision of the IJF Executive Committee," IJF president Marius L. Vizer wrote in a letter to Mukesh Kumar on Thursday.

"I would like to congratulate you for your successful activity until now and at the same time I wish you good luck in the future with this new mission!"
