Saudi-led coalition camp bombed in Yemen


Sanaa, Sep 4 (IANS): The Shia Houthi rebels confirmed they fired a ballistic missile at a camp of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in northeastern Yemen on Friday, killing dozens of soldiers.

The missile was fired earlier in the morning and hit a weapon depot at a military airport in Marib province, about 173 km northeast of the capital Sanaa, the rebels said in a statemen, Xinhua news agency reported.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said 22 of its soldiers were were killed in bombing.

The Saudi-led Arab coalition has been daily bombing the Shia Houthi group across Yemen since March 26.
